Davide Pallotta

Geographer and Forester

I am a qualified Geographer and Forester specialising in urban greenery and green infrastructures for climate change adaptation and mitigation. My focus is on planning and designing public green spaces and ecological networks, as well as developing multifunctional Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). My work involves sustainable management of stormwater using SuDS techniques and improving urban microclimates. Additionally, I am engaged in quantifying Ecosystem Services provided by green spaces and conducting GIS analysis.

Since 2021, I have been collaborating with the LAND Research Lab, the research and innovation unit of the LAND group. I completed a Master’s Degree in the Design and Management of Agro-territorial, Forestry, and Landscape Ecosystems at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bologna, and pursued a minor in “The Challenge of Climate Change”.
