La Promenade Fleuve is the answer to the ideation competition launched by the Quebec government to imagine the redevelopment of phase 4 of the Saint-Laurent River, with particular regard to the green and blue infrastructure of the area.

The Landscape vision for Muscat’s Al-Khuwair downtown waterfront and the new development is focused on finding a balance between the presence of both wadis and the proposed canal. The goal is creating a dynamic coherent green and blue infrastructure, starting with the Wadis framing the site.

The inner green belt in Cologne links the inner-city neighbourhoods with the historic urban extensions. Originally designed by Konrad Adenauer and Fritz Schumacher, the ‘Colonius Nord’ site was designed as part of a competition.

Characterised by the port industry, the Untere Werft forms a unique open space in Krefeld-Uerdingen. The currently inadequate connection and design mean that this potential remains largely unutilised. The redesign aims to make the site attractive, focusing on recreation and historical value.

The park is located in the North of the City, the Al Khuzam Development, close to the Riyadh airport, and forms part of the new urban development. Its core is the long central spine that runs through the urban fabric and becomes the foundation of a new green connection aiming at the 15-minute city.

How do you talk about the future? Dubai does it with flowers as the Expo 2020 site unfolds like a blossom. LAND and an Expo working group designed the public sections of the exposition areas. The design is characterized by a series of tree-lined, self-shaded, human-scaled streets, with a variety of different-sized and themed courtyard spaces.

The strategic environmental Masterplan of Lecco is a frame of reference for projects aimed at redeveloping the area and enhancing its natural resources. A system of green and blue infrastructures through which citizens will be able to enjoy and rediscover the identity and natural values of the area.

Corridor de Biodiversité is a masterplan that introduces vibrant habitats—forests, wetlands, and more—into the urban monotony. The project launched in Saint-Laurent with the Bureau du Design de la Ville de Montréal, aimed at boosting biodiversity through a seamless integration of green, blue, and social infrastructures. This venture takes a comprehensive approach, spanning neighbourhood to territorial scales, to mend the fragmented natural and human landscapes of urban environments.
The project was awarded the National Urban Design Awards 2020 for Sustainable Development, Canada and won the Awards of Excellence in the “Planning and Analysis” category by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA/AAPC) in 2021.

Samara Green City responds to contemporary challenges by introducing Innovation with Nature. The project was awarded the first prize in an Open International Competition for the development of a master plan for the territory adjacent to the Samara Arena Stadium – one that may become one of the most significant locations in the city and the entire region. In team with Asadov Architects, Samara Technical University, MIC – Mobility in Chain, we developed a concept striving for a balanced and sustainable new Green City of Samara.

The aim of the project was the setting-up of the document Programma d’Azione Comunale (Municipal Action Programme) in a synergic collaboration with the Dicastero territorio e mobilità of the Municipio of Bellinzona. The guiding principle for the working team was drawing particular attention to landscape valorisation and virtuous territorial development.

In the context of Airolo, located at the northern tip of Valle Leventina beneath the Gotthard Massif in Canton Ticino, the challenge was to find a harmonious balance between the critical role of transportation infrastructure and the preservation of natural landscapes.

The existing secondary school named after Elsa Brändström in Rheine, near Cologne, is to be expanded to six trains and rebuilt on the site north of the Emsland Stadium. Connected by a continuous “play and sports belt” along the stadium circuit, the school and sports hall develop an urban unit, based on the competition design won by LAND Germany and JSWD Architekten.
