LAND Suisse at the Information Meetings for PAL5, Bellinzona
The Lugano Regional Transport Commission is now initiating the information and participation procedure pursuant to the Spatial Development Law regarding the fifth-generation Lugano agglomeration programme (PAL).
Agglomeration programmes are critical to Switzerland’s urban and landscape planning. They promote sustainable development by aligning local strategies with sectorial policies. In the Fifth Luganese Agglomeration Programme (PAL5), we contribute by integrating landscape into urban planning, ensuring nature and urban growth coexist harmoniously.
PAL5 focuses on improving transport infrastructure sustainably while enhancing the area’s Green Mesh, the network of green spaces including ecological cores like the revitalized Cassarate River.
You can access the complete documentation of PAL5 at this link: https://crtl.ch/pal5/.
As the Programme approaches implementation, the Luganese Regional Transport Commission has initiated a public information and participation process, allowing individuals, municipalities, and other interested parties to submit comments or proposals.

- Wednesday, September 4, 8:00 PM at the Municipal Council Chamber in Mezzovico-Vira
