We are proud to announce that LAND Italia has been awarded the title of "Campione della Crescita 2025" by the Istituto Tedesco Qualità e Finanza, in collaboration with Repubblica Affari Finanza.

With the motto “NATURE MEETS INNOVATION FOR CLIMATE RESILIENCE,” the Horizon Europe-funded project Med-IREN has officially kicked off in the Municipality of Egaleo, Greece, with LAND contributing over the next four years.

LAND has endorsed the Montreal Call to Action on Cities, Climate Research, and Governance, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to science-based climate action. This declaration was launched at the 2024 Innovate4Cities Conference, which took place in Quebec from September 10-12, co-hosted by the Global Covenant of Mayors and UN-Habitat.

On Friday, October 25, at 5:30 PM, at the Venier Auditorium in Pasian di Prato, a public meeting will be held to present the regeneration masterplan for the former Udine – Campoformido airfield, coordinated by LAND. This marks a key step in the ongoing dialogue between LAND and the local community, administration, and stakeholders, with the aim of revitalizing this iconic site by enhancing its historical and environmental value.

The Urban Green Plan of Trento we developed with local stakeholders, is set to transform the city's green infrastructure. As the approval process moves forward, this strategic document focuses on enhancing urban ecosystems, improving public spaces, and addressing the growing challenges of climate change.

LAND participates in the UNECE's UN4UkrainianCities initiative and has presented the landscape and urban regeneration plan for Mykolaiv during an event at Cascina Triulza, organised by the Centre of Excellence on Sustainable Finance for Infrastructure and Smart Cities (ExSUF), established by UNECE and LIUC - Cattaneo University, in cooperation with One Works Foundation.

In anticipation of BUGA 2029, which is set to transform the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, Andreas Kipar participated in the international planning workshop symposium “Two Cities, One Future!” held in Sankt Goar. The event focused on developing sustainable visions for the twin towns of Sankt Goar and Sankt Goarshausen in Germany.

The trilogy of the LAND magazine has won silver in the B2B Building and Living category of the Best of Content Marketing Award (BCM) 2024, as announced at a gala event of the Content Marketing Forum (CMF) on October 8 in Dortmund. It is already the second award, after receiving the Award of Excellence for it at the 30th Annual Communicator Awards in June 2024.

The 30 km Ringpromenade around the South Tyrolean capital city gives concrete and tangible form to the objectives of Bolzano's Green Plan drawn up between 2021 and 2022, which saw LAND define a strategic development vision with the municipal administration and local stakeholders for green spaces inside and outside the city, for a qualitative and quantitative regeneration of its urban and peri-urban landscapes.

LAND Germany is pleased about the successful kick-off of the first workshop for developing a regional landscape concept for the Geeste lowland in the district of Cuxhaven. The focus is on water as a central element for ecological and landscape transformation.

LAND is responsible for the landscape design, using landscape as infrastructure and a driver of development, revitalizing the 93,000 square meters in the north-west of the city.

LAND announces the expansion of its global presence by establishing a new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This move strengthens our strategic role in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, further supporting our ongoing projects and fostering new collaborations.

The publication of "ESSEN.RUHRMETROPOLE. Urban Development 21+," edited by Martin Harter, Dieter Nellen, and Uli Paetzel for publisher Kettler Verlag, documents the profound transformation of the city of Essen in the context of industrial restructuring. Andreas Kipar contributes to this work in various chapters.

The topping-out ceremony for the wvm Group's innovative project, which impresses with its combination of modern architecture, sustainable energy supply, social integration and landscape, took place on Subbelrather Strasse, Cologne Ehrenfeld, on 6 September.

Prof. Andreas Kipar, founder of the international landscape consultancy firm LAND, was awarded the prize at the Baukunstarchiv NRW in Dortmund on August 30. He is the first landscape architect to be awarded this recognition by the German Academy for Urban and Regional Planning (DASL) of North Rhine-Westphalia for his exceptional and pioneering achievements in urban and regional planning.

In 2023, the city of Bern initiated an ambitious international architectural competition for the new Kunstmuseum Bern. Our proposal, created in collaboration with the architectural office EM2N from Zurich, was awarded 3rd prize.
