LAND has endorsed the Montreal Call to Action on Cities, Climate Research, and Governance, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to science-based climate action. This declaration was launched at the 2024 Innovate4Cities Conference, which took place in Quebec from September 10-12, co-hosted by the Global Covenant of Mayors and UN-Habitat.

Andreas Kipar Explores Long-Term Visions for BUGA 2029 at Planning Workshop
In anticipation of BUGA 2029, which is set to transform the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, Andreas Kipar participated in the international planning workshop symposium “Two Cities, One Future!” held in Sankt Goar. The event focused on developing sustainable visions for the twin towns of Sankt Goar and Sankt Goarshausen in Germany.

LAND wins Silver with its corporate magazine at the Best of Content Marketing Award
The trilogy of the LAND magazine has won silver in the B2B Building and Living category of the Best of Content Marketing Award (BCM) 2024, as announced at a gala event of the Content Marketing Forum (CMF) on October 8 in Dortmund. It is already the second award, after receiving the Award of Excellence for it at the 30th Annual Communicator Awards in June 2024.

Ringpromenade project kicks off to give Bolzano a new lease of life
The 30 km Ringpromenade around the South Tyrolean capital city gives concrete and tangible form to the objectives of Bolzano's Green Plan drawn up between 2021 and 2022, which saw LAND define a strategic development vision with the municipal administration and local stakeholders for green spaces inside and outside the city, for a qualitative and quantitative regeneration of its urban and peri-urban landscapes.

LAND in Nhood's Winning Team for Green Soul in Bologna, C40 Reinventing Cities
The "Green Soul" project, led by Nhood Services Italy, as part of the international C40 Reinventing Cities initiative, marks a pivotal moment in the regeneration of the Ravone-Prati area in Bologna. LAND is responsible for the landscape design, using landscape as infrastructure and a driver of development, revitalizing the 93,000 square meters in the north-west of the city.

Prof. Andreas Kipar has received the Halstenberg Prize 2024
Prof. Andreas Kipar, founder of the international landscape consultancy firm LAND, was awarded the prize at the Baukunstarchiv NRW in Dortmund on August 30. He is the first landscape architect to be awarded this recognition by the German Academy for Urban and Regional Planning (DASL) of North Rhine-Westphalia for his exceptional and pioneering achievements in urban and regional planning.
