LAND to Participate in Seminar on Natural Capital and Protected Areas at La Sapienza University, Rome

On Monday, June 17, LAND is at Università La Sapienza of Rome to participate in the seminar "Natural Capital and Protected Areas: Towards the National Biodiversity Strategy 2030."

This event – organised by the PhD in Planning, Design, and Architectural Technology (PDTA) and the Master’s program in Natural Capital and Protected Areas. Planning, Design, Management (CNAAPP) – marks the opening of the course and is an important step in discussing future strategies for biodiversity.

Valentina Galiulo will join a distinguished panel focused on ecosystem restoration alongside Eugenio Morello from Politecnico di Milano. Valentina will highlight the growing importance of natural capital in future planning and showcase the LAND Research Lab‘s commitment to monitoring and enhancing biodiversity in urban landscapes.

Her presentation will emphasise strategies and best practices that combine a data-driven approach with established expertise in research and innovation. These efforts are crucial in facilitating the transition towards nature-positive cities and landscapes, ultimately contributing to a better quality of life.
