LAND Suisse with Federico Scopinich at PoliMi workshop KASTA’LET
LAND Suisse as Guests at PoliMi for the workshop 'KASTA'LET. Regenerating fragile coastal landscapes public spaces between Maggiore Lake and Ticino River'
Federico Scopinich, General Manager of LAND Suisse, and our architects, Domenico Tirrito and Matteo Bianchi, will be at Politecnico di Milano for the workshop ‘KASTA’LET. Regenerating fragile coastal landscapes public spaces between Maggiore Lake and Ticino River.’
While Domenico and Matteo are the Guest Tutors for the workshop led by professors Chiara Nifosì, Valerio Tolve and Jacopo Leveratto (all from the DAstU, Department of Architecture and Urban Studies at PoliMi), Federico Friday June 7 at 10 AM, will give a lecture on ‘Strategies and tools for ecosystem regeneration in swiss landscape planning’, bringing some of the LAND projects we have developed in recent years as virtuous examples.
The workshop, now in its second edition, is a unique opportunity to delve into the practical aspects of regenerating fragile coastal landscapes. With a specific focus on the areas between Lake Maggiore and the Ticino River in the municipality of Castelletto sopra Ticino, this workshop offers a hands-on experience in a real-world context.
The initiative is the result of the synergy between the Municipality of Castelletto Ticino (promoting body), the local Legambiente section, the company THECHBAU – a private partner actively interested in the recovery of this particular landscape context and co-financer of the workshop – and the DAStU of the Politecnico di Milano.
