Andrea Bulloni and Martina Conti promoted to Directors
We proudly announce the promotion of Andrea Bulloni and Martina Conti to Directors: Andrea for LAND Italia and Martina for LAND Suisse.
Andrea Bulloni joined our LAND office as an intern in 2014, and that’s when he started his journey with us. Step by step, he became a key figure in several LAND projects, mainly focused on Urban Regeneration. Since March 2020, he has been managing the project of the Ex Falck Areas in Sesto San Giovanni, which was designed in collaboration with Foster and Partners.
During his studies in Architecture and Sustainable Technology at the Politecnico di Milano, Andrea worked for more than three years at international architectural and landscape firms in Milan and Amsterdam. After his dissertation was selected for the RIBA President Medals Prize and the 10th Barcelona Biennale, he started working as a freelance architect and designer.
Eclectic talent Andrea has been leading architectural, design, and cultural projects since 2018. In 2019, he co-founded SPACE TRAVELLERS, an architectural Think Tank with which he won the EUROPAN 15 Norway and achieved significant positions in other international competitions.
Driven by the desire to deal with several different disciplinary fields, he’s committed to culture and research. He’s been a guest speaker at Politecnico di Milano, at the 5th edition of Biennale dello Spazio Pubblico from University ROMA3 and Academia di Belle Arti in Rome, with the support of ADI and Fondazione Compasso D’oro.
Andrea fully reflects what LAND proudly defines as Young Factor, the winning card that LAND believes in. An open dialogue and a fruitful blend between experts of different ages, in which the value of “the next generation” plays a significant role, highlighting new points of view that allow to grab unexpected opportunities.
The first step of Martina Conti’s exciting journey at LAND dates back to 2016. Born in 1991 in Italy, Martina studied at the Politecnico di Milano and graduated with a dissertation in landscape architecture.
Since 2016, she has been working professionally in the LAND group. After a consolidated experience as Project Manager, she has now been promoted to Director at LAND Suisse Sagl, based in Lugano.
Her expertise has a particular focus on important urban regeneration and development projects in Switzerland, such as the Airolo Valley Renaturation, the new Sport Park Al Maglio in Lugano, the Kantonsspital Winterthur Masterplan 2030+ and the Spitalcluster Lengg in Zurich.
She has also specialized in strategic planning, focused on a virtuous landscape and territorial enhancement. She elaborated on the PAC (Municipal Action Program), the main strategic document for the Municipalities’ future development in Canton Ticino.
Martina is another valuable example of the next generation of young, passionate professionals who turn aspirations into opportunities. Therefore, Martina—the youngest of our directors—embodies the Young Factor, which LAND aims to support within its professional mindset.
