Stefano Roman promoted to Director at LAND Italia
Congratulations to Stefano Roman, a landscape architect with international experience and working with us since 2017, was promoted to Director at LAND Italia.
Stefano Roman, a Landscape Architect, joined our LAND office in Milan in 2017 as a Project Manager. Before, he gained valuable experience working as a Landscape Architect in the UK and Singapore, focusing on Real Estate landscape and master planning, Mixed-Use and Retail landscape and Cultural landscape.
Stefano has been involved in a wide range of projects, varying in scale throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, some of which have been developed with a flexible integration between landscape design and master planning.
He contributed to the landscape design of the UAE Pavilion for Expo 2015 in Milan, where he oversaw the construction process, being on site until the opening.
As a Project Manager at LAND, he was responsible for the overall design vision of several projects, coordinating and collaborating with external consultants, overseeing projects’ programs and budgets, guiding the Design Team, guaranteeing the deliverables execution and their quality control, liaising with clients and leading presentations.
Stefano’s expertise extends from conceptual and detailed design to construction. One of his significant achievements at LAND is the development of the Public Realm of the Thematic Districts of Expo 2020 Dubai, a project that he saw through from its inception to its realization.
Currently, his work is mainly targeted in the Saudi area with a focus on the city of Riyadh, a unique place with an “extreme” nature that allows Stefano, together with LAND, to face new ways of working with nature.
